Digitalisation

In cooperation with the Hilandar Research Library (HRL) of the Ohio State University (https://library.osu.edu/hrl) and with the project Pelagios (http://commons.pelagios.org/) we will digitise selected charters and/or their respective editions (i.e. medieval Serbian charters), make them OCR-readable and publish them online. The annotation software Recogito (https://recogito.pelagios.org/) will allow many possibilities to explore as well as to annotate these written sources and to include them in our DPP web application (the so-called DPP Mapviewer).

This approach will be implemented by the DPP Case Study "The Historical Region of Macedonia (12th-14th cent.) – The Transformation of a Medieval Landscape".
